309th Combat Engineering Company will be that much more prepared for its fall deployment. The company will be working on route clearance for convoys during its tour in Afghanistan. “We’ll be looking for roadside bombs,” Staff Sgt. Louis Goldstein said. “The routes that we’ll be on won’t be major highways. They’re more like goat trails.”
